Everblue Metal Remover prevents staining and reduces scale build up on electrodes.
It is recommended that all pools be treated with Metal Remover at the start of the season to reduce metal build up from municipal water, as all water contains some metals. Metal remover will not remove stains on the surface of the pool, it will however remove the metals in solution causing the problem.
To remove surface staining first use Everblue Stain Remover.
Directions for use: Disconnect your automatic pool cleaner. Set the filter to circulate/bypass and add one bottle of everblue Metal Remover around the sides of the pool. Allow to circulate for 8 hours to mix thoroughly, thereafter check and correct pH if necessary. Shock treat with Everblue Active Shock. Set filter to run for 24 hours. Vacuum the pool floor manually with the filter set to “Waste” if a brown residue has settled. Continue with normal pool care and chlorination routine.
When to use: Water has a green tint caused by algae. Water becomes brown when chloride is added. If using borehole water for your swimming pool regular treatments are advised. If there is scale build up on salt chlorinator electrodes.

Maintain Total Alkalinity (TA) level at between 80-120 ppm, checking monthly.
